Here we are ready for Cooper's first church Sunday. This is the outfit we took him home from the hospital wearing. It's the only newborn size outfit that still fits him! And that's really only because I can completely unbutton it to put it on him.
We can usually tell when Coop is really passed out.
We've been trying to do some tummy time most days. He's not a big fan of it, but getting more & more used to it. Here he is on his quilt made by Great Grandma Jensen (my mom's mom).
He seems to be focusing on us more & more, and spending much more time awake during the day. It makes it even harder to get things done around the house since it's so easy to just sit & watch him, especially while he's awake.
He seems to still be going through a bit of a growth spurt, and is eating anywhere from every 1 to 4 hours, usually about every 2 hours. It's made for some long nights recently, but we're all doing well.
We've been enjoying the cooler weather by going for almost daily walks which always puts him to sleep.
Last week we went & visited Nick at work for the first time on Friday - our first big outing. He did pretty good, but sometimes he likes to get fussy when other people hold him, but of course quiets right down as soon as I take him. Little stinker... :)
This weekend will be his first road trip. We will be driving to Iowa City for Nick's cousin's wedding. So far he just passes out pretty much any time we get in the car, so hopefully he'll sleep most of the way there. I guess we'll see!
Until next time...
